What a Twitter proxy is (and why "X proxy" means something else in search)

A Twitter proxy is the path your X traffic takes before it reaches the site. Your browser profile or tool talks to JesusProxy first. JesusProxy checks the login, then a SIM phone on a US carrier opens the session. X sees that phone’s carrier IP. A mobile proxy is that phone path, sold with a host, port, username, and password.

Twitter was renamed X, so this page says both. A Twitter proxy and an X proxy are the same thing when the job is an account you manage. Search also uses “X proxy” for unrelated Windows software and VPN apps. Those results are not this product. A proxy for X, on this page, means a US mobile exit for an account you own or manage.

US mobile proxies from JesusProxy stay inside the United States, on T-Mobile and Verizon, in Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. There is no data limit, which means unlimited bandwidth for the proxy itself. Uptime is listed as 99.99%, and that number is not a service-level promise. An Instagram proxy and a TikTok proxy for other accounts you manage use the same carrier path.

Who uses Twitter proxies

X proxies are for people who already run accounts they are allowed to use. The usual buyers are:

  • Social media managers who post and reply from accounts they control.
  • Agencies that keep each client account on its own steady phone.
  • Brands with several regional or product accounts aimed at a US audience.
  • Community teams that answer from an official account.
  • People checking how an ad or campaign appears from a US mobile IP.

Each of those jobs wants the exit to look like a US phone, and the important accounts want that phone to stay still while they are signed in.

Best type of proxy for X accounts

The useful question is where the IP comes from, and whether a logged-in account should stay on it.

A mobile carrier IP is the type this page sells for logged-in X accounts, because it comes from a real phone. Residential means a home internet line. Datacenter means a hosting company. Neither of those is a SIM phone on T-Mobile or Verizon. If the job is an account you manage, start with a carrier IP you control and keep it steady for that account. This is a description of the fit, not a ranking of other sellers. The plain explanation of a mobile exit is on the mobile proxy guide. A mobile proxy vs residential proxy comparison is there too.

Private vs Share for X

Both plans are US mobile proxies. The difference is who else can use the phone, and whether you decide when the IP changes.

Private

$6for 1 day

$35 for 7 days · $110 for 30 days

1 physical SIM and 1 phone, dedicated to you. The IP is yours, and you decide when it changes.

Choose Private if…

  • The X account is logged in and should stay on one phone.
  • You want HTTP and SOCKS5 together, plus OpenVPN and WireGuard files.
  • You want a new IP on demand, from $6 for 1 day.

Private is the plan for logged-in accounts. Share is only for light, logged-out checks, because the IP is shared and rotates on its own. That Private plan is a dedicated mobile proxy.

One steady phone per important account is the pattern. Compare plans when you are ready to buy.

How to set up a Twitter proxy (4 steps)

  1. Top up your wallet

Add funds with crypto or PayPal. The plan is paid from that balance.

  2. Buy Private

Choose 1, 7, or 30 days. The proxy is active immediately after payment.

  3. Copy the login

Open My Proxies and copy the host, port, username, and password.

  4. Add it to the profile

Put those values in an antidetect browser profile or tool as HTTP or SOCKS5.

After the profile is saved, check the exit IP with the same login. Replace the placeholders with the values from your dashboard.

curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT https://ipinfo.io/json

The path from your tool to the SIM is covered on how it works. Ordering and rotation from your own software are covered in the API documentation.

Keep the IP steady per session

Do not rotate in the middle of a signed-in session. Keep the same phone while you post, reply, or move through the account. Match the browser profile and timezone to that account, and leave the IP alone until the task is finished.

Rotate between tasks by link or API

Rotate between tasks with the rotation link, an API call, or a timer of 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Host, port, and password stay the same when the carrier address changes. A new IP takes about 20–45 seconds. Unlimited manual rotations, with at least 2 minutes between rotation requests. The controls are on rotating mobile proxies.

Using proxies with X responsibly

X’s rules on platform manipulation apply whatever IP you use. Follow those rules. One account per browser profile and IP is the safest pattern. Do not buy fake engagement, and do not run coordinated accounts you are not allowed to run. A mobile IP can remove one risk signal, because the exit is a real US phone, and it cannot promise that an account will stay open.

We recommend 1 device at a time for best results. Share is the wrong tool for a signed-in account, because other customers use that phone and the address changes on its own. A carrier IP can still be noticed. For a plain explanation of detection, read can mobile proxies be detected. We do not claim that a previous IP can never come back. Your saved host, port, username, and password do not change during the wait.

The $3 / 1-day Share plan is the low-cost way to try a US mobile view. Private starts at $6 for 1 day and is $110 for 30 days. There is no data limit on either plan. Refund requests are accepted within 7 days of purchase, for eligible cases only. Read the refund policy before you buy, and open proxies for X accounts for the live cards.

Twitter (X) proxy FAQ

What are the risks of using a proxy?

A public or shared IP can be used by people you do not know. An untrusted operator can see traffic that passes through them. A location that jumps during a login is another risk. Private gives you one SIM phone, a login you can edit, and HTTP and SOCKS5. It does not remove every risk.

Is a proxy server illegal?

Using a proxy is generally legal. What you do through it has to follow the law and X’s rules. This is not legal advice. JesusProxy sells the US mobile path for accounts you own or manage. It does not change the platform’s rules, and it does not create accounts for you.

What is a Twitter proxy?

A Twitter proxy routes your X traffic through another IP address. A mobile proxy for X uses a real phone on a US carrier, so the account sits on a carrier IP instead of a datacenter address. JesusProxy checks your login, then the phone opens X over T-Mobile or Verizon.

Is an X proxy the same as a Twitter proxy?

Yes, for account use. Twitter was renamed X, so a Twitter proxy and an X proxy mean the same path when you are managing an account. X-Proxy is also the name of unrelated software. This page is about the US mobile IP, not that program.

Which proxy is best for managing X accounts?

A mobile carrier IP that only you use, kept steady for each account, is the fit for accounts you manage. Private is that IP: one SIM phone, HTTP and SOCKS5, and you choose when it changes. Share is for a short look at a public page. This describes the fit, not a ranking of providers.

How many X accounts per proxy?

One Private IP for each important account is the safest pattern. We also recommend 1 device at a time for best results. That is a recommendation, not a number X has published, and it is not a hard cap. A mobile IP does not replace careful account setup.

Does my login change when the IP rotates?

No. Host, port, username, and password stay the same. Only the carrier address at the phone changes, so the browser profile or tool you already configured does not need a new password.

How much does a Twitter proxy cost?

Private is $6 for 1 day, $35 for 7 days, and $110 for 30 days. Share is $3 for 1 day, $20 for 7 days, and $65 for 30 days. Prices are the full period in USD, paid from your wallet. Auto-renew is off by default.
